Key steps in making an application

The deadline for applications for Finuas 2009-2010 funding was 24th April 2009.

Interested groups needed to undertake a number of key steps prior to submitting the application. Support was available from Skillnets in understanding the Finuas model and application requirements. Applicants needed to do the following:

• Seek companies and relevant industry partners within the international financial services sector to join the group. This may have included holding meetings, seminars or discussion groups
• Identify and develop network aims and objectives in order to recruit other companies
• Conduct research and investigate the training needs of participating companies
• Identify current provision and gaps that the network could address
• Develop a network plan to meet those training needs
• Identify solutions and delivery mechanisms to meet those needs.
• Decide on the operating procedures and structure of the network
• Identify potential trainers and other providers
